- Where are your servers located? Is DMCA ignored? Can I run TOR?
Our company and infrastructure (including IP addresses and resources) are based in Sofia, Bulgaria. TOR exit nodes are allowed. DMCA is not relevant in Bulgaria, however, Bulgarian copyright law is in effect. Any reports or complaints are reviewed, and we try to address any issue with the customer's best interest in mind by contacting them first to resolve the problem.
- How does your DDoS protection work?
When you purchase a DDoS protected IP address, we will provide you with IP address that routes to our DDoS network cloud infrastructure which can filter attacks up to 1Tbps. Attacks with more capacity than this will result in a null route. The protection analyzes the packets to your server IP address, and if the system suspects non-legit packets, it filters them, and the malicious traffic would not reach your server. - I have a DDoS protected IP but the attack was not blocked. What should I do?
Please open a ticket and provide us with more information about the incident. We can put your IP address in a more strict DDoS Protection mode, and we will do everything possible to protect you from the next attack.
- Do you offer Windows servers? What OS are supported?
Yes, we offer Windows servers. If you do not have a Windows Server license, you can purchase it from us just for 6 EUR per month excluding VAT.
OpenVZ VPS is limited to Linux OS.
Available Linux distributions for KVM VPS and VDS are Debian, Ubuntu, CentOS and Fedora or you can deploy your custom ISO.

- What if there is an attack on my non-protected IP?
If there is a DDoS attack on your non-protected IP, this will result in a null route for this IP address. The null route will be automatically removed within 10 minutes. If the attack is still on-going, the null route will be continued until there is no on-going attack.
If you have purchased a DDoS protected IP, be sure that your non-protected IP is not exposed.
- Do you perform virtual server backups?
We do not make any automated backups or snapshots for our virtual server services (OpenVZ VPS, KVM VPS, and VDS), and we do not keep archives of customer data. Upon request, we can assist with setting up local backup and provide you with an optional remote backup storage.
All of our servers are in RAID 10 configuration to guarantee maximum data protection.
However, we do automated daily backups of your shared hosting account. You can check here how to restore your account from them.
- How many domains can I have on my shared hosting account?
You can add as many of addon domains as you want on your shared hosting account. There is no specified limit from our side.
- Do you accept Bitcoin/Litecoin payments? Can I get a discount?

- Does VAT apply for European Union customers?
VPS.BG is required to collect VAT (Value Added Tax) for customers that reside in the EU. VAT is not charged to Business or Charity customers that provide a valid VAT registration. You may enter your VAT registration in your customer portal's settings section. Our prices do not include VAT - VAT will be added to your invoice as a separate line item.
- Can I get a custom plan or add a specific resource?
At the moment, we do not provide customized plans. We believe that our plans are well-constructed and you would find a perfect fit for your needs.
- How much time is needed for my service to be activated?
Your service will be activated instantly once the payment is processed.
