2026 is just around the corner and once again, unsurprisingly, we are going to be getting yet another cPanel price increase, making this the 7th consecutive year where cPanel prices are going to be changing. While last year did see some prices drop, the Solo plan, which a vast majority of people actually use, saw an increase in price.

2025 marked yet another price adjustment with price movements around 5-10% and 2026 seems to be headed in the same direction with the prices going up by around another 10% for the Solo plan! NOC partners are also affected, with them also seeing an increase of about 12%. These changes will take effect from the 1st of January 2026.

cPanel increases prices by around 10%

Following the changes to the prices for 2025, 2026 is going to be pushing up those prices again, making the Solo plan even more expensive! Other plans are also going to see an increase with the new cPanel license pricing for 2026 being:

Plan

Old Price

New Price

cPanel Solo (1 account)

$26.99

$29.99

Admin (up to 5 cPanel accounts)

$35.99

$35.99

Pro (up to 30 cPanel accounts)

$46.99

$53.99

Premier (up to 100 cPanel accounts)

$65.99

$69.99

Bulk (every account over 100 cPanel accounts)

$0.45

$0.49

As it can be seen all cPanel plans are dramatically going up in price, with an average increase around 10%, making the Solo plan a whopping $30.

Pricing changes for cPanel Partners (NOC)

NOC partners have also received the official statement about the changes to the cPanel license prices with the new numbers being as follows:

Plan

Old Price

New Price

cPanel Solo (Cloud)

$16

$18

cPanel Solo (Metal)

$16

$18

Admin (up to 5 accounts)

$19.75

$21

Pro (up to 30 accounts)

$27.25

$32

Plus (up to 50 accounts)

$39.25

$42

Premier (Cloud) (up to 100 accounts)

Premier (Metal)

Premier Bulk (Cloud)

$0.35

Premier Bulk (Metal)

This does mark yet another year where NOC prices are going to be increasing. Last year’s drops to some plans didn’t apply to the NOC partner pricing and this year it looks to be the same with another 10-12% increase.

New cPanel features for 2026

With prices going up, there are some new and exciting features coming to cPanel in 2026 with the most notable ones being a built-in AI support agent, a fresh new cPanel SEO extension, expanded NGINX support and others.

In general, 2025 brought a much faster and more responsive cPanel thanks to the enhanced backend and the better UI performance. Additionally, with some it also introduced the built-in server monitoring that many users have been requesting for a long time, significantly reducing complexities and cost.

What are the best cPanel alternatives?

If we compare the prices over the last 7 years, it’s obvious that these ‘slight’ increases are starting to leave a pretty big dent into people’s pockets, which is why some cPanel alternatives are becoming a much more viable and reliable option.

One such option is CyberPanel. Coming in hot with features like ModSec & CSF, its own personal file manager and an intuitive user interface, it has many of the things that make cPanel the desired control panel, just without having to pay anything at all. This is because CyberPanel is entirely open-source, allowing you to self-host it on your cloud server for free! We even have our own, custom CyberPanel application template, allowing you to get a cloud server with CyberPanel up and running within minutes, without having to configure anything!

Another great open-source and free alternative is Webmin. With its DNS zone editor and easy port configuration capabilities, alongside a bunch of other useful tools that you can use for server management, administration and monitoring, it’s the perfect fit for those looking to make the switch from cPanel. Similarly to CyberPanel, you can also get a cloud server with Webmin and get everything set up with a single click with the help of our privacy-friendly application templates.

There is also a new rising star when it comes to VPS control panels, Linux management and web hosting - 1panel. It is a free and open-source alternative that is has been gaining a lot of popularity recently, due to it being very fast and lightweight, with a clean user interface and rich features like one-click apps, backups as well as easy management for websites, databases, SSL certificates and others, everything that a user could need and want but without the steep prices.

If you are looking for some extra alternatives, you can also check out our cPanel alternatives article where we cover more control panels in greater detail.
