How to migrate your WordPress website with the All-in-One WP Migration plugin?

What is All-In-One WP Migration?

This is a recommended plugin by us for easy WordPress migration. This plugin can help to export your WordPress including the database, installed plugins, themes, media files, etc. No technical knowledge is required. The plugin is very sophisticated, and it will fix some problems which usually occur during migration.

How to install the All-In-One WP Migration plugin?

The plugin is available in the WordPress Plugin library and can be downloaded/installed directly from your WordPress very easily:

  1. Open your WordPress administration panel and navigate to Plugins > Add new.

  2. In the search box type All-In-One WP Migration and press Enter.

  3. Install and activate the plugin using the button.

    In the first section you configure the plugin to replace some texts in your database during the export. Also, you can specify what you do not want to export - spam comments, post revisions, plugins, etc.

    In the last step you should specify where you want to save the export - as a file on your computer, Google Drive, FTP, etc. There are a lot of choices to save the export file.

 

After you click on the place, where you want to save the export, you will have to wait a little bit, and your archive will be prepared. 

 

How can I import my website with All-In-One WP Migration plugin?

After you have exported your website using the same plugin, the import can be done very easily:

  1. Open the WordPress administration and navigate to All-In-One WP Migration > Import.

  2. You will see the import interface:


    Here, again, you have a variety of options to import your website - from the file on your computer, cloud service, etc. Choose the location of your backup archive and import it. That’s all.
